Genealogy Roadshow Recap: Los Angeles, CA

Tuesday night’s finale of Genealogy Roadshow took us to Los Angeles, CA… and then straight back to New York! The story of Anneke Jans Bogardus and her descendants has been heavily researched and written about in the NYG&B Record.  NYG&B members have online access to every issue of the Record in our eLibrary at Findmypast. If you think you might be a descendant of Anneke Jans, here are a few must-read articles:

I always find it sad when one of my favorite shows ends for the season. A great way to fill the void for this show is to check out the Genealogy Roadshow website for great tips from the experts. The PBS Learning Media website also has some great Roadshow extras (it’s meant to be a site dedicated to helping students learn genealogy, but it has some fun content worth checking out no matter what level you are at in your research.)

Happy hunting!
