Today in NYC: Night at the Museums

Today, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, several Lower Manhattan museums, historic sites, and archives offer free admission and special programs as part of River to River: Night at the Museums. Among the participating venues are the African Burial Ground National Monument, Fraunces Tavern® Museum, Museum of Jewish Heritage, National Archives at New York City, and South Street Seaport Museum. The NYC Municipal Archives Visitors Center presents a one-day- only special exhibit: The Unbuilt City, about the Downtown Civic Center that was longed planned, but never built. Artist renderings, building designs, and architectural plans will be on view.
