In honor of V-E Day (May 8, 1945), Fold3 is offering free access to their WWII collections from May 1- May 15, 2015. Just go to the World War II page at Fold3, here, and begin searching.

Collections include draft registration cards, lists of military personnel, photos, diaries, applications for headstones, case files about war crimes, accounts of battles, and European maps and property records. If your ancestors were still in Europe during the war, the European maps and property records may hold an interest for you.
