The National Genealogical Society has made available the program for their 2015 Family History Conference in St. Charles, Missouri, on May 13-16, 2015. The program shows the wide array of topics that will be showcased in the lectures. The NYG&B is sponsoring a New York track on Thursday, May 14, 2015. Speakers for the New York track include the editor of the Record Karen Mauer Green, CG, FGBS; Jane Wilcox of the Forget-Me-Not Hour; and Terry Koch Bostic. Topics include patroonships, manors, patents, land records, immigration, migration, the wide range of municipal records of New York State, vital records and their substitutes, and city directories. The program can be downloaded here.
The NGS suggests that those interested in attending register as soon as registration opens on December 1, 2014 to ensure you can attend all the events in which you are interested, as many of their workshops, lectures, and luncheons have limited seating. Past conferences with New York tracks sponsored by the NYG&B have sold out quickly.
