Syllabus for “Looking for Your New York Tenant Farmer: Little-Used Resources”

Tenant Farmer syllabusIf you missed Jane Wilcox’s “Looking for Your New York Tenant Farmer: Little-Used Resources” talk at the New York Public Library in May, the syllabus is available for purchase as an e-book on Amazon.com. After a brief perusal, the e-book seems to be nearly identical to the syllabus Researcher 25_2that was distributed at the talk, and provides the reader with lists of resources focused on specific manors and patents. Jane Wilcox also contributed a wonderful article, “Exploring Research Resources for Hudson Valley Tenant Farmers,” in the latest issue of the New York Researcher. The article details the documents and record types that may be found for New York tenant farmers, as well as research tips and a bibliography.
