Irish Census Records Available for Free at FindMyPast

findmypast logoFindMyPast is offering free access to their 19th century Irish Census Records, for the first time available online and searchable. Most Irish census records of the period were destroyed in the fire at the Four Courts in 1922. FindMyPast, in cooperation with the National Archives of Ireland and FamilySearch, now has the remaining returns from Ireland’s censuses 1821-1851 fully digitized and available on their site.
