Who Do You Think You Are? may be over for the season, but don’t despair! A new genealogy-themed television program, Genealogy Roadshow, is premiering on PBS stations on September 23! One of the show’s on-air experts, Joshua Taylor, the president of the Federation of Genealogical Societies, will be speaking at the New York State Family History Conference, co-sponsored by the NYG&B!
For the first time ever, the National Archives will host a virtual Genealogy Fair with live lectures and chat via the website UStream and a call-in genealogy help line.
Lectures: This program will showcase tips and techniques for using Federal records at the National Archives for genealogy research. Lectures are designed for experienced genealogy professionals and novices alike.
Genealogy Help Line: Call with your genealogy questions during the fair on our special hot lines. National Archives staff will be available from 1 to 4 p.m. eastern daylight time (EDT) on September 4.
