New Exhibit at NARA NYC

draft riotThe National Archives at New York City has opened a special exhibit to commemorate the anniversary of the Civil War Draft Riots. “A City Under Siege: The 150th Anniversary of the Civil War Draft Riots,” is a special display of original documents that show the events of the July 1863 riots from the holdings of the National Archives at New York City. This sesquicentennial anniversary exhibit will be on display through September, as well as the exhibit, “New York on the Record” in the 3rd floor Welcome Center at the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House at One Bowling Green, New York City, NY.
