Archaeological Excavation in Mt. Kisco

Mt. Kisco’s history is revealed through the artifacts unearthed from  an archaeological excavation undertaken this fall at the St. George’s/St. Mark’s Cemetery, the town’s oldest historic site.  Not only does the site reflect its part in the Revolutionary War, but also the daily lives of its parishioners. The NYG&B’s own Madeline Kearin is a co-director of the excavation.  Click here to read more about this interesting investigation into New York’s past.
